KOTA KINABALU: As the vaccination program intensifies, frontliners at the Pusat Pemberian Vaksin (PPV) in Penampang will be working long hours to ensure that the target of the program is achieved.
With this in mind, MCA Penampang will be contributing daily packed breakfast to the frontliners at the PPV located at the Sabah Cultural Centre.
Its Deputy Division Chief David Tan said the food aid will be provided to the frontliners until June 30.
“Our frontliners will be working from 8am to 8pm seven days a week and this includes on public holiday as they want to ensure that the quota of 800 people vaccinated daily is reached.
“In appreciation of their contribution and sacrifice, starting today June 16, MCA Penampang will deliver 70 packs of breakfast daily for the frontliners at the Sabah Cultural Centre,” Tan said.
Accompanying Tan to deliver the food yesterday were MCA Sabah Chief cum Kapayan Community Development Leader Lu Yen Tung and division leaders.
