KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Tourism Board is participating in the Citrawarna Keluarga Malaysia 2022 themed Festival of Cultural Diversity.

The event is held in Kuching Waterfront, Sarawak from today until Feb 27.

 “As the current tourism scenario in Malaysia focuses on domestic travel, this is a good opportunity to showcase destinations beyond Kota Kinabalu.

“Sabah Tourism started developing and promoting community-based tourism in 2014 and to date, 26 districts have established tourism committees to help develop and sustain tourist activities in their respective areas.

 “As we are also promoting the state’s traditional cuisines, we are also proud to bring one of its finest chefs, Alesandra Paut, who specialises in authentic Sabah traditional food.”

 “Please do visit our Sabah booth as well as to sample the fabulous taste of traditional food that is uniquely Sabah.” said Noredah Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Sabah Tourism Board.
