It is heartwarming to hear about the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu during the holy month of Ramadan.

The hotel hosted a delightful ‘Buka Puasa’ treat for 20 underprivileged children from Rumah Anak Yatim (RAY) in Tambunan, Sabah. The event allowed the children to enjoy a sumptuous buffet spread of delicious food during the fasting month.

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu has been committed to giving back to the less fortunate members of the community, especially during Ramadan.

As part of their CSR initiative, the hotel reaches out to homes in dire need of help and provides the same opportunity to celebrate the fasting month and the Hari Raya festivity like other kids their age.

During the event, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu’s General Manager, Mr. Hafizan Wong, presented all 20 children of Rumah Anak Yatim Tambunan with ‘duit raya’ to enable them to celebrate a more special Hari Raya this year.
