THE ETERNAL WONDERLAND LIGHT EXHIBITION TAKES PLACE AT PRINCE PHILIP PARK, TANJUNG ARU

KOTA KINABALU – Prince Philip Park, Tanjung Aru is currently hosting a spectacular LED light show known as the ‘Eternal Wonderland’ and the public is highly encouraged to come and enjoy the exhibition.

Set amidst the lush Prince Philip Public Park and Tanjung Aru Beach in the backdrop, the Eternal Wonderland exhibition will continue until the 3rd of June 2024. The light exhibition is run by Tawau-based event organiser Aurora Berjaya Enterprise led by Mr. Jack Wong.

Previously, the Eternal Wonderland light exhibition had also taken place in Tawau and had received an overwhelming response from the public. This would be the first time the event organiser is conducting a similar LED light exhibition in Kota Kinabalu, and they have chosen Prince Philip Park as their selected venue.

According to Mr. Wong, Prince Philip Park is selected due to its prime location and popularity.

“We know that Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru Beach receive many visitors throughout the year. The Eternal Wonderland light exhibition would complement them well, offering KK locals something unique to enjoy in the evening time,” says Wong.

“We are also thankful to the management of Tanjung Aru Eco Development Sdn Bhd (TAEDSB), who is the official venue provider for our event, for allowing us to operate at Prince Philip Park. We hope this collaboration will continue in years to come,” Wong concludes.

According to TAEDSB’s General Manager, Datuk Jake Jikulin Nointin, JP., the company welcomes any collaboration that helps promote Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru as KK’s largest open space that is fully accessible to the public.

“TAEDSB’s main priority currently is to upgrade Prince Philip Park so that it can be best enjoyed by everyone. We are happy to have events like the Eternal Wonderland that can bring people together and enhance their experience of Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru Beach,” Jake says.

Jake added that Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru Beach have been a place that invokes fond memories for Sabahans, particularly KK City dwellers. Therefore, he encourages everyone to seize the opportunity to create more fond memories at the Eternal Wonderland light exhibition.

The Eternal Wonderland light exhibition operates daily from 6 pm to 11 pm. The entrance fee is RM8 for adults and RM6 for children under 12 years of age. For more info, please contact Mr. Jack Wong at 010-930 2323.
